Order #TCMT2229 Great product, and superb customer service, however it will not fit a 2017 roadmaster IF you have a stock Indian seat. Hopefully firm will revise and release a new unit.

2018 Indian Chieftain Limited. Timely shipping. A few minor fitment issues I noticed. One of the luggage rack bolt holes was not milled far enough so the bolt wouldn't go in enough to torque it down. I had to add 2 flat washers to it. The locks for the rear aren't the same measurements either. One sticks out farther than the other and scrubs the chrome trim. Granted this is covered by the saddlebags but I'll keep an eye on it. Next, the screw holes to keep it from getting stolen, good luck with getting anything in there. The inside is so close to the bike. I'm currently looking for the right size and length screw to fit. Lastly, the install was different for me as the spools were not like on this video. I needed a 6mm to remove them. All in all, it's not perfect but a decent trade-off vs the prices Indian wants.

Ordered this backrest for my brand new Springfield Darkhorse. I’m very happy with the quality. It’s solidly made and fits well. The finish is also quite nice. Very much worth it.
Do make sure you use some locktite on the little latches. Just loosen the acorn nut and drop in some low strength LockTite and put it back together. I lost one of mine right off. I knew better but was impatient.

Good fit on new spools and looks great but when shaken with hands after tightening everything, there is a little wiggle (2mm). Would buy again, solid quality.
